Back from Bangkok holiday (30 apr to 3 May)..
Didnt spend much over there as i seem to have many stuffs unused from previous trips..
Mainly spend on transportation, foods and entertainment.
A big wow for their entertainment... 250 baht (S$10.90) for our s'pore gold class seat! *faint*
Day 1:
Changi Airport T1
Suvarnabhumi airport
Erawan shrine

MBK for dinner
Nearly 4.30 am, Dear came to fetch me to Changi Airport T1. Check-in our luaggages n we had breakfast McD at T3.. had McGiggles..
Dear dragged me there cos i nvr went there b4. It is big n beautiful.. toO bad our flight is not from T3. =(
All schedules are in time. Dear is excited as he never took a budget flight.. excited and anxious like a kid.. =P
2hrs later.. we arrived at Suvarnabhumi airport. Since it is a weekday, it is not as crowded as sat. Custom are relatively faster than i estimate we took 0.5hr to clear the customs. It turned out the luaggages are slower.. waited 15min for our luaggages to arrived at the belts.
Took a public cab cost us 400 baht to hotel. =(
Check-in is also slow. Offer us free tea n coffee for the waiting.. I went to 7-11 to buy cheeze hotdog to eat as i was hungry.. also we went for the free drinks.. 60baht per cup.. we earn 120baht for free!! haha..
After check-in, we went Erawan shrine for praying and went shopping along the streets. Bought ah min's bday present toO..
Went Central for shopping and lunch.. At 3pm, Dear is so hungry that we ordered so many foods to eat.. Pizza, lasagne, pasta, satays and drinks. It cost us nearly SGD25.. -____-"
Went to Central world.. unable to complete the whole mall as it became toO big.. =(
Went to Big C to buy our daily stuffs and drinks.. Bought half a dozen of mineral water only for 60baht (SGD2.62)..
Took a tuktuk back to hotel but it was heavily jam.. The driver was so pissed off with the jam. We jammed the lane for 30 min+ and wanna increase our fare halfway. We refused and he left his vehicle on the road.. Dear and i alighted the tuktuk without payment and walk ten min to the skytrain.. we arrived our hotel ten min later..
It is late.. went to MBK for dinner.. most stalls are closed.. jus eat some noodle and we went for swensen for icecream.. Order fondue for two.. only cost SGD6.5!! The flavours are mostly unavailble in s'pore... there are much more variety compare to s'pore... =(
After icecream treat, all shops closed.. we took a skytrain back to hotel as it is still badly jammed.
Oh... we bought donuts back.. Promotion cos the shop is closing. 6pc cost 88baht (S$3.85)..
Had a good nite sleep..

Chong Nonsi (Lalaisap Mkt) - closed on labour day.
Central Pier - take ferry to chinatown
Sampeng lane (Chinatown)
KFC @ chinatown for lunch
MBK for shopping & dinner & movie
Wake up early for int'l breakfast.. Dear is famishing.. ate alot for breakfast... alot of eggs...
Breakfast is not bad.. =)
A long hot walk... realised that y shortie's uncle will come here to stock up his stuffs... relatively wholesale stuffs and cheaper than other mkts... Dear managed to get most of his "things-to-buy stuffs" for his family.
Had our late lunch at KFC in chinatown.. Dear is teasing that how come fork and knife is used when eating the chicken... =S
Took a tuktuk back to hotel.. dear seem to enjoy the exciting ride back.. =) Dear is stunned when the driver seem to take small lane as shortcut to avoid the jam..
Had alittle rest before going MBK for dinner and shopping.
We ended up went to watch a movie - Ironman.. I know dear want to watch this movie and we bought VIP seats. We merely thought that VIP seats are jus bigger seat than regular.. the poster didnt stated much except we saw the sofaseat..
We asked to go the VIP lounge for waiting.. it is like our s'pore gold class lounge.. we order a combo (one regular popcorn and two cup of softdrinks @ 98baht (S$4.30).. i nearly lost the cinema tix... lucky i found on the floor below my seat.
Dear is stunned when we enter the cinema.. it is like our gold class cinema.. the seat are like our those bus coach seat without foot rest.. I love that there is blanket offered... I fear the coldness of the cinema.. Dear is super happy with the money spent... =)
Both of us are movie fantics.. love good movie with comfortable seats... =)
After the show, we went to shop for clothes.. dear and i bought some t-shirts.. later we went to eat jap food.. bento with hotplates.. very nice and cheap.. =) i love the food..
Took tuktuk back hotel.. Dear kept saying let go home... not hotel.. muhaha...
Keep bugging dear to buy the condo apartment opp the hotel for me.. then i can always fly bangkok for shopping!
Day 3:

Chatatuk Mkt - 5% shop is open.. =(
MBK for last min shopping and dinner.
Foot Massage @ 200 baht per hr
Lalaisap mkt is open. =)
On the way, we passed by a cafe and bought a mocha frappe.. like McD's med size cup and it cost us 35 baht (S$1.53). it taste as nice as starbuck n it is cheaper plus bigger cup! Yummy.. =)
I bought two large bag n dear bought a tshirt at the mkt. Dear bought two glass bottle of coke zero for keeping @ 10baht (S$0.43) each..
Pratunman mkt is next. went there to take a look as dear wanna to see..
Jus walking ard to see.. and realised that we bought quite a few.. =P
Had lunch at Plantium mall. Pleease dun be surprise with the food we ate...
Appetizer: Shark fin
Main course: Fried horfun (dry) for dear and Kway Chap (mine)
Dessert: Bird nest with rock sugar.
Haha... cost us only.. 430 baht (S$18.10)..
Next we tried to go weekend mkt on friday. Cos the map noted that some shops will be open n will be less crowd.. We went to take a try n realised the shops are merely 5% open. Most of them are preparing their shops to open for weekends. A disappointing trip.. =(
We took a cab down to MBK for shopping and dinner. Had MK steamboat for dinner and we shopped our last min list..
Went to foot massage. It is great.. and i felt my swollen feet are totally lightened... =)
Dear surprised me by buying a watch.. it is nice but.. we somehow lost the item when we were busying looking at shoes.. =(
Had a big cry over it...

Home sweet home
Early morning, we went to weekend mkt. It is totally open and dear is stunned to see the large difference between the two days. Had a short walk only.. cos we already bought the stuffs we already needed..
Next we went back hotel to check out. Approached to siam parangon for lunch. Had secret receipe for lunch.. cheaper than s'pore rate..
Walk ard at Gourmet Mkt and Siam Ocean World.
Had a last min ice-cream treat. 9 scoop of icecream plus fodue and a plate of fruits.. 249 baht (S$10.89).. sinful treat -___-"
went back hotel to pick up luaggage. Wait for public cab instead of hotel cab. costing us 200 baht to arrived. It was a fearful ride.. the driver seem not very sure which airport we are going to.. the road he used seem to be very unfamiliar.. somemore he stopped at mid of expressway for a while..
Finally i saw the signboard with word of Suvarnabhumi airport .. i feel relief.. -___-"
Check in luaggage and custom took us two hours. Planned to have Burger King as our dinner but it is temporany closed.. -__-" We two were "huh??"..
We ate pizza company which is next to it.. 219 baht for a combo of a pizza, a soft drink and 4 pc of wings. Expensive indeed but it seem to be the cheapest food in the airport.. =S
Our flight turned to be delay... lucky we two were looking the photos we took the past few days.. it made us dun feel so boring..
We slept all the two hr in the flight as we had not enough rest for past few days.. when i woke up and realised we are landing at changi airport T1..
Dear's folks fetch us up.. dear sent me home and it was 3am in the morning..
Became sleep beauty for next few days.. =P

We went to take skytrain to chong nonsi for the mkt. I felt weird when i arrived there.. seem no stalls are opened.. i nvr know bangkok also celebrate labour day.. =(

We took the train down to central pier... 1st time try to take ferry to chinatown.. im super nervous cos i feared that we mayb miss the stop due to langauage barrier..
We bought our express ticket for 20 baht each for 2 stops. (express tickets mean lesser stops)Lucky there are many ang-mo at the ferry station and they are taking the river cruise package. We took the same ferry and that's y our ferry trip are spoken in english! Also due to tat reason, the guide explain the landmarks and historial building in english... we tend to know more for free.. =)
Arrived at N5 stop just ten min ride.. we arrived the chinatown.
