11th Feb.
We didn't have plan as usual and we decided to have a simple meal and movie. Our usual routine. Happened that dear wanna treated me the subway meal as dinner and the movie we watched was a romantic comedy. After the movie, we happened we were located next to the sentosa Broadway and decided to have a moonlight stroll. All happened without purpose planning and yet it felt like a valentine day pre-celebration. Since it was pretty late during our stroll, it seem pretty empty and "booked" by dear.. Ha ha..
Simple unplanned things do made a different romantic atmosphere after all.. =)

It was valentine day. We didn't have any plan at all. All i thought that it was too commerical day and it was not worth to spend on this day. Flowers and dinners were pretty expensive compare to other days. Anyway years ago, we agreed to pay more on our anniversary which was on Jan than a valentine day.
With this idea, i thought we were not celebrating anything at all. Last year, it happened on LNY and we did nothing but gathered in somewhere ( i think in relative house for celebration).
He was working that day. So i assumed that he needed rest after work. Asking me to google a location. I thought his father wanna him to go that place to collect something (his usual routine). He told me that he would meet me up later and i was delighted.
Surprising he fetched me and mentioned we needed takeaway dinner. Immediately i guessed we went to mob movie session (a free movie session under a moon and starry stars)! Only that dating required takeaway meals..
Ha ha.. We went to order BK for dinner and drove to the actual location. Arrived there and realised that it was quite packed.
Picnic at the front screen. Sumptuous BK meal. A bottle of white wine. Simple and nice. =)
Waited for 8pm before it started the show "500days of summer". Before it flashed, someone did a public proposal. His DIY video started and we initially tot it was a commerical. After that, a man spokes with a mic. I immediately realised it will be a proposal and i was right. His speech was pretty long before others realised it was a proposal. His friends hanged up high with board with light stick - "will you marry me?"
Everyone stood up and stared this memorial scene. The lady was sitting alone in the car, with a mic passed to her. Pro photographer came out with large lighting to snap the precious moment. She finally gave a 3 horn sound to show she agreed. Everyone cheered and horned to celebration this special occasion. I think the surrounding was stunned with such a grand honing site.
Dear asked me a cheeky question - "Do i like such mushy proposal?"
=S
What a place to ask such qn... and the show started..
P.S. It was a simple plan with least spending. We only spent on the cost of the fast food dinner and we had movie under the stars. Simple and yet cheap. I love it.. =)
The proposal was featured on Strait Time website. And.. i saw a glimpse of my dear in the video!!
