Yesterday, my neighbourhood had our annual garden party. This was organised by a committe of neighbourhood RC for past 2 years. This year was the 3rd.
As usual, there were sale of tickets beforehand and we usually cannot get hold of the tickets due to the limit of availability. Free door gift, a lunch meal box and 2 round of lucky draws were given if anyone had a ticket in his or her hand. For the rest, anyone in the neighbourhood were allowed to watch the performances, free halogen balloons, twisted shapes balloons, free flow of pop corns and candy floss. There were flea market which consist ten stalls to sell their unwanted products or their imported stuffs.
This year was special. Beside the arrival of our MP, the organisers had a hard effort to allow our garden have a pony ride! There were 4 Australian ponies in our neighbourhood garden for the 4 hours. Each ride cost $2 for a short ride with a free photo taken. The queue was freaking long for the past 4 hours. The organisers had done many paperworks to get authority to bring 4 ponies to HBD garden to let our area people to enjoy the fun ride.
I had a ride before in Zoo and cost me five time the cost of the garden ride. That pony was pretty small that it had difficulty to hold my heavy weight. =(
This 4 beautiful ponies were pretty large in size. The stablemen brought the 4 beauties to walk several rounds to let them use to the route and the environmental. Watching from my room windows and saw the 4 ponies were walking round and round.. It made me felt like i am in the stable or VIP lounge to watch the horse in our turf club.
