I am not a good daughter after all…
I had read this particular article about a Taiwanese celebrity couple who had 3 children. The couple is younger few years old than my parent while the children is around my age.
The children are not independent and all children were totally depended on their old folk, particularly in the financial part.
This reminds me that I am as bad as them. Till now, I was totally dependent on my old folk for tertiary education fee and living allowance. My parents are old enough to retire but them still struggling to work despite of poor health to pay for the housing loan and my education fee. Though I did work during vacation jobs but it is not enough to cover my 10percent of my expensive fees.
I promised myself that I will work hard after graduation to earn enough money to filial my parents for their hard works. However my plan is not as smoothly going.
Financial crisis wave is approaching me…
My poly fees had been on hold for past 4 years due to my current full time studying program. My repayment loan will activate this coming august despite whether I had job or not. I did repaid some of it beforehand but the 4 years interest snowball to a bigger sum than what I had loan previously.
I still need to repay my parent 5 digit figures (starting with 2 in front) for my current education...
Worst of all, my mum had confirmed her working place will be closed down end of May. She maybe retrenches or if she is lucky enough to transfer somewhere those need vacancy. However, from what I know, other places had enough manpower.
Dad’s health is not as good as before. Two years ago, he had surgery on his right hand due to accident. Doctor did confirm that his right hand will not as agile or strong as before. He tried hard to carry on his labour intensive job despite his weak arm. Recently his leg is giving problems. Specialist recommends using infoot sole to see whether his leg will give lesser pain. If not, surgery will be the final resort. If he will go another round of surgery, I doubt his job will be not available for him. His next checkup will reveal whether his surgery is need or not.
If such tragedy happens, the whole housing loan and the living expenses will land totally on me.
By then, I still have exam on going…
Honestly I have not mood for coming mock and main exam. I am quite stressed with my responsible.
Some more I don’t know whether I can get a job in time after exam. Bills don’t wait for people…
