ok i will keep short and sweet on my intineray of my bkk trip.
Day1
We went to CoCo-Walk which is opp of my hotel and BTS station for supper. They had a similar style of buffet like Marine South and the price is darn cheap. 89 baht per person. It exclude drink and ice. A bucket of ice cost 15 baht and a 1.5 litre of coke cost 35 baht. In total, each only pay ard 100baht abit more and equivalent to S$4.50 to $5.
Haha... darn cheap.. only thing tat it dun have such good variety and u dun mind dirty lah..
Day 2
We went to Boe Bae Mkt for shopping spree. The cab driver is very nice and let us alight at the very crowded with stalls. Though it is hot and sunny, We still shop n shop until noon and we got alot of new clothes..
Later we went to Chinatown. We told the driver we want to go sampeng mkt but it dropped us opp an hotel in chinatown. In the end, we walked and walked to the nearest shopping mall - Merry king and Central in Yaowarat for aircon shopping. We dunno how many km we had walked but the map seemed very far from where we alight.
We had our lunch at KFC and the drink were ice water and able to refillable.. so weird..
Then we returned to our hotel to drop off our purchases... darn heavy...
We went to Chilom Cental and Big C to shop until it close...
Day 3
We went back to Big C to continue our unfinished shopping. We went to try a Ramen and it cost very cheap 60+baht per bowl and it is very delicious. In the end, we were hooked and ate every day. it called Hachiba Ramen
Then we went to Pratunam Mkt by tuktuk and it dropped us at Baiyoke. It is a good place to start our shopping as last time the cab driver drop us at main road and we dunno how to enter to market. This time we bought alot of clothes again..
oh ya, something very funny. We tried to walk overhead bridge halfway and we were stopped. They wanna to clean the stairway of the overhead bridge n they forbid all the walkers to walk the bridge. They used their body to bWe stood the the overhead bridge and feared the bridge will be overloaded as the crowd is massive. Downstair, ppl were waiting toO. It caused human trafic jam. The cleaners cleaned and scrubbed and carried pails of waters to clean & pours.. They poured the water as if there is no passer- by or stores below. They still pour when ppl were walking.. Lucky i was on the overhead bridge. Otherwise i will be wet. Haha.. Our country never clean the overhead bridge leh...
At night we went to MBK for MK restuarant and Swensen Icecream as it was Shortie's birthday.
Day 4
We went to the Chatuchak weekend market using taxi. I bet the driver wanna to cheat our $ by routing expressway and drove us to a remote petrol station to top up his petrol. The total trip cost us 100+ baht to reach there. We were fast to finish our shopping list in few hours and completed by noon. I saw dark cloudy sky and left the place fast. Lucky when we reach hotel, it rain heavy.
We were eariler as planned so we went to Opp MBK building for mani/pedicure. I had done one set for hand n feet and it cost me ard S$12.8 in total. However we waited an hour plus to completed as the shop is very crowded.
Then we went to Suan Lum Bazaar and it seemed very quiet and not crowded as Weekend Mkt. Most of all, they tended to chop us at very high price. An initial price of a lighter cost us 490baht and we managed to cut until 100 baht. Some were worse. Starting price cost 900baht... Imagine if we are dumb and stupid, we will pay extra $ more.. We were not happy with the prices they gave and we left.
SInce we are early, we went to patpong to shop instead. It had become organised and not as "dark" used to be. However i was able to show shortie few second to outside some of the pubs to see the stripping lady dancing at the bar top or bar pole. At least we are more satisfited with Patpong than Suan Lum Bazzar..
We went back hotel earlier to pack our luggages.. We packed nearly 2hr+!
DAy 5
It is our last day in Bkk, so we went to weekday Lalaisap mkt which is near Chong Nonsi Bts station. I nearly spent my remaining sum of bahts there as everything seemed to have my size or items i want.
After tat, we went to MBK again to do our last min shopping and we returned to Hotel for check out.
SInce our flight is at evening, we got ample of time and we went to Siam Paragon and Siam center to take pics and window shopping. We took alot of pics at Pargaon as it is the latest high class shopping more. SOmemore there is a Underwater World at the basement of the mall. The food Mall in the Pargaon is also big. Almost the whole floor is consist of restuarants and food courts.
