I saw this on my student portal regarding on the calculator used.

In general, the calculator must have its own power supply and be quiet in operation. In addition, it :
must NOT be programmed prior to the examination – so this means that you cannot use a calculator that contains programmes installed by the manufacturer.
must NOT have material stored by candidates in pre-programmed memory - this is counted as a form of cheating so all such programmes must be cleared
must NOT display graphics, text or algebraic equations
must NOT be a scientific calculator (this is according to LSE on 21 April)
The calculator used must be solely a calculator - it must not also be a mobile phone, a PDA or any other similar device.

What?? Cant used scientific calculator?? Everyone is using scientific leh..

Funni, how come got this kinda rule?

Anyway, i will be in sch on mon and tue in the same room from 10 till 8pm, feel free to come and join me, but let me know in advance so i can book space from you, some of my friends are also UOL students, maybe they can also help you in your studies
