This entry will encounter my genting trip.. Pls bear with me for the long story..
7th Apr - the nite before the trip
I need to overnite my cousin's hse. It is because we need to reach toa payoh @ 6.30am and i dun have any transport so early from my area. Therefore i stayed a nite there as Uncle pooh will drive us early morning.
Before i depart my hse, i had a minor quarrel with bro. Since he is on the same way to fetch her dear and therefore he is driving me to my cousin's hse. He is annoyed that i delayed his time to fetch his dear as i asked him to activite the function "pay per use roaming". I was mad as he was toO anxious to fetch his dear and dun bother to help me. He kept hurry me to left the hse though i was in pain with my injuried ankle. I was more madder when he was busy smsing and standing @ the gate like a stone. Dun bother to help me until mum's nagging.. I was so angry until i stormed out of the door when a heavy backpack and hand carry luaggage. My hands are full with stuffs, shoes are not properly wear and i was already stormed to the lift lobby.. At this moment, he started to throw his temper that i anyhow lose my temper and rejected his offer.. Mum started to ask daddy to sent me instead. I rejected and left.
On the way to my cousin's hse, i realised that i didn't bring A LOT OF THINGS..
-_-" I realised tat i lose my sim card. I was so panic until i rang home to check whether i left on the shoe shelf or i lose on the way to the carpark. Also i forget to bring my snacks as Daddy's purposely went to my fav bakery shop to buy it and other foodstuffsplus forget alot of other items.. *sobsob*
My best friends all rang me up at mid of the nite to concern me my ankle and whether i was comfortable to stay in other ppl's hse. So sweet.. Mum also call me twice.. she is worry abt me..
8 Apr - Day 1 - Way to Genting Highland
I woke up 4.45am to have a bath and breakfast. Everyone is up to help us make preparation. Even the little Amelia was up to send us off though she and her parents will be meeting us on the next day since they can't make it to go with us on the same day. We 3 gals, (anna, shortie and me) carry out luggage out to carpark and departed. It was 5.30am and all patch dark..
We arrived toa payoh blk 154 @ 6am. The coach, the driver and the tour guide were there already. The bus left the place near 7am as there are ppl were late.. After clearing the custon, it was already 8am.
The bus trip to genting took 6hs plus.. Throughout the jounery, we ate, joke, and slept.. Plus toO bored until we kept photo taking.. THe tour guide was weird. He like to tease and joke we 3 short build gals.
When we reach genting downhill, it was raining heavily. The bus hit one of the steep turn and nearly lose its balance. I was sitting at the top back of the bus and i had a good clear view of it. Luckily the bus driver was skillful enough, otherwise i will be pancake already..
When we reach there, it was 2.15pm. There are tons of ppl.. it was like a refugee camp. We stormed to the lobby and queue up. We are 3rd person in tat queue and we waited 1 hr plus to wait for the staff to serve us. Alot of other tour guides pretending to stand near the counter and once they got the chance to speak to the lobby staff, they asked them to prepare their tour guests' room. Imagine i stood there for an hour plus, sawing mumerous of tour guide got their guests' room.. I saw piles of room keys are given to tour guides and our queue hadn't move an inch. Plus a lot of other travellers kept standing near me to cut my queue. The security guards are useless.. They stand there and do nothing with those tour guides..
Finally, a trainee came in. shortie squeeze in after the grp in front of us are done with their check in.. Luckily she is fast enough b4 alot of other traveller stormed up unorderly.. We got our rooms in a couple of mins.. Actually the rooms were already prepared but no one served the queue. We reached out room, it was totally no amenities.. except a tv on the top of the cupboard. The shower and toilet room were very small. There are alot of cockroaches.. worst of all, one of the room had not clear up @ all..
We went to roam ard the 1st world plaza for the rest of the day.. plus photo taking..
We had a free dinner. It was high class restaurant n we had the western dinner. Also we had a cup of starbuck @ nite since it was located in the mid of a small river.. nice enviroment..
THe nite.. anna and me are locked out of the room.. we went to shortie room to sleep and call the lobby staff to send our a new set of keys to shortie's room.. We called them @ 1.30am and we slept until 4am and no one sent the keys up yet.. We need to go down the lobby to collect our keys.. Worst of all, there are stalkers living opp of our room. They dun close their door, smoking and kept disturbing us when we try to open the locked door.
9th Apr - Day 2 - Outdoor theme park, movie, Miriam Concert
When i wake up, there was a cockroach sleeping next to me.. -_-"
Uncle pooh, aunt jessie and amelia had arrived.
We had our breakfast at the cafe.. Yucks.. the food were not nice.. no choice we had to eat..
We went to the the outdoor theme park to play.. It was super cold and foggy. I can see anyone in front of me. I belief it was less than 13 degree. All of us had wore 3 layers of clothing. AUnt jessie was super darling.. All her daughters said that she had no heart. She dun afraid of anything and dared to play all kind oif thrills rides.. I was rather timid to play such thrill rides..
When we took the cable car ride in the theme park, i was practically hugging the pole tightly.. i had fear of heights.. The day was so misty until alot of rides were not open
Now i knew i can scream when i was ride a jumbo.. In japan theme park, i was so scared until i can't scream out..
After tat, Uncle pooh and aunt jessie bring anna n me to casino to have an eye opening.. Actually i went to cruise casino b4 but never went to starworld casino b4. I meet some stalkers in the casino.. I wonder y there are so many stalker in genting..
We all went to catch a movie after lunch.. it was a ghost movie - the ten method to see a ghost.. -_-" it was the 1st time i ever scared by the ghost movie.. In the end, i had nitemares since tat movie..
AT nite, we went to the Miriam Yeung Live Concert in Genting.. She is one of my fav singers.. SHe is so gooD.. Interactive, playful, bubbly throughout the concert.. She will pick two fans to sing with her.. She will run down the audience to have a handshake. She is willing to stay and pose to let her fans to take pics.. i regret i didn't bring my cam along.. =( However, she sang most of the songs i knew.. Also the guest of her concert is edumond leong. An Actor in HK.. He had a good voice.. he sang, played piano and sand duet with Miriam.. WOw.. In her encore, she will sing what ever audience want to listen. She sang alot of songs.. Also i like all the dress she wore the whole concert.. So pretty.. I was super happy and i sang thr out the concert.. Nearly lose my dear voice..
At nite i was still disturbed by that movie..
10th Apr - Day 3 - the day we went home
I went to bath and realised there was a cockroach in the same bathroom with me.. -_-"
It was the last day in genting. We went to the indoor theme park to play games and ride. I tried a indoor roller coaster. It was not scared but was fast in turning. I bump into the side of the seat and hurted my left arm. Now still swollen..
We try to do the last min shopping and photo taking b4 we depart..
Thanks to Uncle Pooh. He treated me alot. HE treated me 2 lunch - hot pot and pizza hut, a movie treat, two games treat in arcade and 1 ride of coast ride in indoor theme park. I was so grateful as i didn't bring enough $ there..
@ 2.45, we departed Genting. Aunt Jessie, Uncle Pooh and amelia took different bus from us back to singapore.
THE END..
It was super fun and enjoyable except the experience in the hotel check in and the poor hotel services. Colleen called me jus now, saying y im so fragile as i came back singapore with so many ache and injuries.
Oh, those who go genting must not afraid of cockroach and rats..

I kinda happy that i had a good bond with my cousins who i travelled with. I had many cousins but no all are tat close. I hope our bonds does stays forever..

i really appreciate that singapore toilets are so clean.. I also appreciate tat my room is free from cockroach toO..
Thru the years I also grow to appreciate my relatives...though maybe sometimes I wonder if I chee hong cos I only keep contact wif my female cousins...=P no la cos the males all working le all no time to stay online or sms a guy la...aiyo...
