Back from cousin wedding party..
It is a wedding between french and singaporean.
RAther drained and tired after the whole event.. as if im the bride.. THough it was tiring but it was fun.. it is still joyful and funny..
Woke up super early to reach there but i had overslept.. 0_o"
My cousin-in-law's dad and his dad best friend came from france to see his son to get marry. Although i can't communicate with him in french but smile is the best languages in the world.. I kept smiling to him as he and his friend are allowed to enter the hse lonely while his son is outside to bargaining the price to enter the hse.. Luckily he knew abit of english and he was rather funny lively person esp the way he thanks. He did try to follow our chinese wedding culture like tea ceremony.
Also there is suppose one camera man and one video man, however most of the relatives bring their digtial cameras and videocam along.. Imagined that non official photographers were standing on the bed, occupy packly, taking pics.. The whole room was full of cameras flashes when the bridegroom open the veils.. The official videoman was rather stunned and said "wow.. " I bet he feared he will lose his job so many ppl take the pics..
I told dad that i wanna to have my own camera toO.. He asked me to wait until he won the lottery.. -_-"
I missed the video clip as i was in charge of the reception and table numbers. SInce there are ppl who are late, i had to wait until the very last min and rush in b4 the bride and groom enter the wedding hall. Do help out throwing the flower petals and sprinkler the small papers on the top of the couple.
THe guests had quite a number of foreigners and overseas friends. From local to philippines to scotland to france.. Ya, my doc cousin flew back from scotland to attend the wedding..
AMong the nine course meal, we had chicken rice for the 8th dish. It was their hotel signature dishes and it is also a good experience for the foreigners and local guests to have an unusual tasting..
After the meal, we had photo taking session. Since our relatives love to take the pics and photos, we are hanging there taking non stop.. Also we had try to "snatch" the bride fast to take pic b4 other did.. Haha..
It was a good experience to have cross culture wedding.. ToO bad i dun have enough funds to fly to france on july to attend the france wedding.. I heard that theirs is totally different.. Also the couple told me that they will held their wedding in the grandparents' countryside villa. The old folk had already plant new plants to be bloom on their wedding day.. Wow.. they are soooo sweet..
